FIFA World Cup Day 6 : Stars and Scores Tuesday 19th June 2018

June 18, 2018

All event charts are calculated for BST (British Summer Time) using Astrogold for mobile. 'The favourites' are the team with the best overall bookmaker's odds for the match in question only.

Group H : Colombia v Japan

The bookmakers are

agreed on Colombia as the favourites for the first game of Group H. They are awarded Venus (Lady of the Ascendant), and the Sun (Lord 10).  Their opponents, Japan are signified by Mars (Lord 7) and Saturn, (Lord 4).  Venus for the favourites is strengthened by her conjunction with the North Node and placement near the cusp of the 10th house.  The Moon as the flow of events makes one aspect within the workable orb for football matches (5-6 degrees); a sextile to the antiscion of Mars, Lord of the 7th.  This should signify at least one goal for Japan, and is a sign that Colombia may not find this match as easy as the current betting odds imply.

Group H : Poland v Senegal

Poland are the bookie's favourites; their significators are Mars (Lord 1) and Mercury (Lord 10).  Their rivals Senegal are awarded Venus (Lady of the 7th) and Jupiter (Lord 4).  The Moon's placement on the cusp of the 10th house is a strong testimony for the favourites. The Moon applies to sextile the antiscion of Mars, a further positive sign for Poland.  The only testimony for Senegal is the opposition of Venus (Lady of the 7th) to Fortuna, but the orb may be a degree too wide to avail their cause.

Group A : Russia v Egypt

Russia made a strong start in their first match against Saudi Arabia and the bookmakers are giving them good odds to win:  As favourites they have Jupiter (Lord 1) and Mars (Lord 10) as their significators.  As main significator of Russia, Jupiter's role as Lord 1 takes precedence over his duties as dispositor of Fortuna.  Mercury (Lord 7) and Venus (Lady of the 4th) are awarded to Egypt.  There are few testimonies to judge in this chart; the only aspect of significance being the Moon's sextile to the antiscion of Venus.  We can expect Egypt to present a credible challenge to Russia, but whether this is aspect alone is a strong enough testimony for them to win the game remains to be seen.
